  • 2 Honeycrisp apples, sliced
  • 3 tablespoons salted butter
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 wheel of brie (8–12 ounces)

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced apples and cook until they soften, about 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the maple syrup and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until caramelized.
  • Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and place the wheel of brie in the center.
  • Spoon the caramelized apples on top of the brie.
  • Fold the edges of the puff pastry over the brie and seal it.
  • Place the wrapped brie on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with crackers, baguette slices, or fresh fruit. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Reheat at 350°F (175°C).
